Sophie specialises in Sports injury management and treatment. Soft tissue therapy, massage, myofascial release, cupping, tool assisted massage and medical acupuncture.
We have our very own Hungarian Henchess Zsuzsi Toros. An experienced strength athlete. Zsuzsi is equipped to deliver hands on therapy and practical advice for managing your injuries during training. Affectionately known as ‘cupping queen’ of Yorkshire!
Zsuszi specialises in Swedish Massage, deep tissue Massage, Myofascial cupping. Pre and post event soft tissue therapy and hugs for free.
An Osteopathy graduate of Leeds Beckett University. Niall has competed at the British Championships in Weightlifting and has spent time working with athletes from a variety of sporting backgrounds, including Powerlifting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and running.
Niall also provides Acupuncture as part of his treatment and is trained in manipulations, soft tissue massage, joint articulation and sport specific exercise prescription. Niall particularly enjoys treating shoulder and back injuries.
Meet Aaron, lead clinician at MofO. With over 25 years clinical experience and 15 years of academic teaching experience. Aaron blends accumulated hands on skills with teaching and sports medicine knowledge. Aaron began his career in the RAF before working as a PT for around 10 years prior to graduating from the British School of Osteopathy, with a first class Degree. Aaron set up and managed his own private practice alongside his lecturing post at University College Birmingham and undertook an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science. Moving to Yorkshire in 2012, Aaron has combined clinical practice with his role as a Senior lecturer in Sports and Exercise Therapy at Leeds Becket University.
Predominantly working with elite endurance athletes , Motor sports competitors and international swimmers until MofO was established. Aaron now spends much of his time working with Body builders, power lifters, combat sport athletes and athletes where strength and conditioning forms a large part of their training load. Aarons unique skill lies in his talent to combine injury treatment interventions with sport specific training programming to optimise and accelerate healing time.
Meet Danielle, Clinic Director at MofO. Danielle spent the early part of her career as an elite athlete in road cycling and mountain biking before a catastrophic hip injury during an MTB downhill event brought her career to a premature end. Reassessing her career options, she graduated towards a career in Nutrition and Dietetics and like Aaron boasts over 25 years of clinical and teaching experience working with elite level athletes from a number of different sports. Danielle now specialises in health optimisation for athletes. She works specifically with clients experiencing complex or resistant health issues limiting their performance and quality of life. Specialising in blood work interpretation, female fertility and supplement programs to support health and performance goals.
